Bidding Instructions

Please read the terms and conditions for each auction carefully as they may change. In order to bid, the bidder must read the terms and conditions, provide the information requested on the registration page and most importantly the bidder must be ready to comply with the terms and conditions of the sale, payment and removal of the item as you are creating a contractual obligation.

A bid number and password can be obtained by going to the registration page, inputting the required information and clicking the submit button. ( You must be 18 years of age or older.) You will receive an email with your bid number and password. The bid number and password are unique to you and can be used for the current as well as future auctions. You should keep this information in a safe place as its use constitutes the creation of a contractual obligation. If you need to update any bidder information or credit card information, just click on the registration button and then click update profile.

To begin bidding, select and click on the current auction, then click all items. This will bring up a listing of all the items in the auction. Enter your bid and if you choose to make use of the maximum bid box, enter your maximum bid for each item. Please be careful though when entering your bids. If you enter your maximum bid in the box labeled current bid, the bid will immediately be increased to your maximum bid. If you utilize the maximum bid, the computer will automatically increase your bid to the next required increment whenever you are out bid by another bidder. If the bidding exceeds your maximum bid, you will be out of the bidding unless you increase your maximum bid to a higher level. (You may still be out of the bidding if someone else has left a higher maximum bid.) After inputting your bid, you will be required to enter your bid number and password and click submit.

You can bid as often as you want. It is also possible to increase your own bid. The system will ask you whether you are sure you want to increase your bid. If the increase is intentional (i.e. you want to out bid your competition) then respond affirmatively, if not, cancel the new bid. The system does not show your maximum bid or anyone else's either. It is advisable to register early so you have the greatest opportunity to select the items of interest to you and to enter your bids. Bidding in the final hours can progress very quickly, so plan accordingly.
